Fair enough. There are many that will take your money, give you a mediocre product and then stop responding after you're finished.
The solution? Check:
- The "resume writer" is on 411. If not, they're probably not too credible
- The "resume writer" has a website. This establishes a long-term business
- The "resume writer" is willing to show samples. (How else can you know if you will like the result?)
